Description
Wessuc is a leading environmental services company specializing in wastewater management, infrastructure support, and sustainable waste solutions for municipal, agricultural, industrial, and contractor clients. As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and ensuring the continued success of our sales operations. You will lead a dedicated team, shape sales strategies, and foster strong client relationships across Ontario.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team to achieve performance targets
- Establish and maintain sales processes, expectations, and activity standards
- Track and review sales KPIs, including pipeline activity, conversion rates, revenue targets, and client retention
- Conduct regular sales reviews to assess progress and identify areas for improvement
- Support pricing accuracy and profitability by collaborating with estimating on pricing and proposals
- Assist with sales strategy, key client meetings, and complex opportunities
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
- Identify upcoming tenders and contribute to competitive submissions
- Ensure accurate CRM activity and pipeline reporting
- Represent Wessuc at industry events and client meetings
- Monitor market and competitor trends to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate with operations, estimating, and finance to align sales commitments with company capacity
- Support hiring, onboarding, and development of sales team members

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of progressive sales leadership experience, including direct management of a sales team of at least 5 people
- Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold sales representatives accountable to performance targets
- Experience establishing sales processes, expectations, and activity standards
- Hands-on experience responding to tenders and supporting competitive submissions in a project-based sales environment
- Proficiency using Zoho CRM for activity tracking and pipeline reporting
- Sales experience in construction, infrastructure services, environmental services, or municipal services
- Demonstrated ability to manage sales performance using KPIs such as pipeline activity, conversion rates, revenue targets, and client retention
- Experience selling to municipalities, contractors, agricultural operations, and industrial clients
- Valid driver’s license
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Willingness to travel within Ontario approximately 25–50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Competitive salary expectations within CAD $130,000–$150,000 base range
