Support the DMP Department by coordinating day-to-day production activities for a featurette project. Work closely with DMP leads and supervisors to manage schedules, track assets, and ensure environment deliverables align with overall production goals. Serve as a key communication link between DMP artists and cross-departmental teams to keep the pipeline moving smoothly.

  • Track progress of matte paintings and environment assets using ShotGrid (or equivalent), ensuring timely and accurate updates
  • Facilitate communication between DMP, layout, lighting, compositing, and other departments to support environment integration
  • Organize and participate in production meetings; document notes, action items, and approvals
  • Identify potential bottlenecks in the DMP pipeline and proactively coordinate solutions with leads and production
  • Coordinate resources, reference materials, and deliveries related to DMP assets and environments
  • Prepare reports, status updates, and review materials for supervisors and stakeholders

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience as a Production Coordinator, preferably within animation, VFX, or environment-focused departments
  • Proficiency with ShotGrid or similar production tracking software
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Familiarity with DMP workflows (environment creation, projections, asset handoff) is a plus
