Concord Parking is Hiring a Podium Captain (Valet Operations)!

Location: Vancouver, BC (Oakridge Park)
Schedule: Flexible scheduling (7-day availability required)
Hours: Up to 40 hours/week (8–10 hour shifts)
Pay Rate: $26.24/hour

Overview
Concord Parking is seeking a Podium Captain to support valet operations at Oakridge Park, one of Vancouver’s premier luxury destinations.
In this role, you are the face of the valet experience. You will manage guest check-ins, coordinate with valet drivers, and ensure every interaction is smooth, professional, and memorable.
This is a fast-paced, high-touch environment where attention to detail and calm communication are essential.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a polished, professional welcome to every guest
- Manage valet check-in and check-out with accuracy and efficiency
- Set clear expectations regarding wait times and valet procedures
- Operate valet systems in real time (vehicle details, tickets, transactions)
- Maintain strict key control and organized records
- Coordinate with drivers to manage vehicle flow and reduce congestion
- Support guests with luggage, directions, and general assistance
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed
- Monitor kiosks, equipment, and report technical issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional podium area
- Assist with valet driving duties during high-volume periods
Requirements
- 3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience
- Strong communication skills with a calm, professional demeanor
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Tech-savvy and confident using systems and Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proactive, customer-first mindset
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Clean driver’s abstract (maximum 1 minor infraction in the last 3 years)
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to stand and walk outdoors for full 8–10 hour shifts
- Ability to walk 10–15 km per shift
Nice to Have
- Previous valet or luxury hospitality experience
- Experience resolving customer concerns
- Additional language skills (Mandarin is an asset)
