The Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health) Division of Gastroenterology has an opening for an additional member to join a group of 14 Gastroenterologists based in Victoria. The Division provides services to a direct referral population of 375,000 and a tertiary referral population of 800,000.

Eligible applicants must have Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Gastroenterology and be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of B.C.

The successful candidate will join the Division of Gastroenterology in a full-time capacity and participate in paid on-call coverage with 14 members covering two sites and establish a private community consultation practice. Subspecialty training in Nutrition is required for this position.

The Division of Gastroenterology is affiliated with the University of British Columbia and the Island Medical Program. Your responsibilities will include direct clinical care with some teaching of medical students and residents.  Opportunities for clinical research are available.
