Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid position for an Associate Lawyer based in Toronto. The suitable candidate will handle a variety of family law cases, including client consultations, legal research, drafting legal documents, managing court appearances, and representing clients in negotiations or hearings. This role involves collaboration with colleagues while allowing for some work-from-home flexibility. Candidates should be prepared to grow, learn from mentorship, and actively engage in strategizing and advocating to the best of their abilities.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Family Law and legal research methods
• Strong drafting skills for legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and court materials
• Litigation experience, including managing court appearances, negotiations, and hearings
• Excellent client communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
• Minimum two years of family law experience in Ontario
