You will be hands-on in the field, coordinating equipment use, verifying quantities, and ensuring all work meets our high-quality standards — all while championing a strong culture of safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directly lead and participate in project construction tasks from planning to completion.
• Collaborate closely with the project Superintendent to forecast material, manpower and equipment needs.
• Assign tasks and manage crews to meet project priorities effectively.
• Ensure safe and proper use of machinery and equipment on-site.
• Maintain Wilco’s reputation for quality and safety excellence.
• Oversee subcontractor adherence to project specifications and timelines.
• Train and develop team members following Wilco’s safety and procedural standards.
• Create and sustain a positive and fair work environment by enforcing company policies and fostering open communication.

Please note: Candidates will undergo an in-person equipment and competency evaluation prior to employment to confirm skills and qualifications.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a construction foreman, preferably in civil construction.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of equipment operation in construction settings.
• Excellent numeracy, record keeping, and technology proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, grade stakes, and operate laser levels.
• Competent at handling multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced knowledge of landscaping principles including grading, planting, and hardscaping.
• Valid driver’s license required.
