Description

At Cayuga Displays an Assembly Technician, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing and assembly of temperature-controlled products, including refrigerated showcases and food bars. Your contributions will directly impact product quality and customer satisfaction, while supporting the company's commitment to excellence and innovation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assembling temperature-controlled products according to engineering drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures
  • Working with sheet metal, wiring, and glass components to ensure precise assembly
  • Performing in-process quality inspections to maintain high standards
  • Troubleshooting and resolving assembly and testing issues as they arise
  • Collaborating with engineering and design teams to provide feedback for product improvement
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Supporting woodworking operations as required
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support overall production goals

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on assembly or manufacturing experience
  • Experience reading and following technical drawings
  • Experience assembling metal and/or wood products
  • Experience using small hand tools and power tools for assembly work, including sliding table saws
  • Basic wiring experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for an entire workday, and perform repetitive motion tasks
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Willingness to work overtime when needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

    • Typical hours 6:30am – 5:00pm Monday–Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays as needed
