Description
Planit Green Landscapes is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Foreman to lead our landscaping crews in Brantford, ON. This role is central to ensuring our clients' properties are maintained to the highest standards and that all projects are executed safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.

This is a year-round, full-time, permanent position based out of Ancaster, Ontario. We have been building and expanding Planit Green Landscape & Design’s culture over the last 10 years to value teamwork, efficiency, and passion.

Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and coordinating daily activities of landscaping crews, ensuring tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and irrigation installation are completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining site quality and appearance to meet client expectations, including weed control, fertilization schedules, and seasonal landscape enhancements.
- Managing equipment, supplies, and safety compliance, including tool maintenance, inventory control, and adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
- Communicating with clients and internal stakeholders to assess needs, provide progress updates, and adjust work plans based on priorities and weather conditions.
- Documenting work completed, tracking time and materials, and preparing progress reports for project managers and clients.
Requirements
- Experience working as a landscape maintenance foreman or crew lead
- Experience leading residential landscape maintenance projects
- Experience supervising landscaping crews of 2–3 people
- Hands-on experience with core landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and irrigation installation
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including weed control, fertilization scheduling, and seasonal enhancements
- Valid driver’s license
- Availability to work 40+ hours per week, including overtime as needed
- Experience communicating with clients to assess needs and provide progress updates
