Shop Maintenance Foreman

Park Paving is a locally owned and operated company and has been in business for over 50 years as one the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton. We are looking for a SHOP MAINTENANCE FOREMAN who can be responsible for a variety of duties related to the scheduling, coordinating and mentoring of heavy duty field technicians.

This position will be based out of our Maintenance Shop location in Sherwood Park, AB.

This is a full-time permanent position with competitive wages and benefits.

Primary duties include:

Coordinating, scheduling and mentoring of all shop mechanics and maintenance staff (this includes providing support in person).

Inspecting stationary and mobile equipment within the shop to help diagnose problems and support efficient execution of work.

Working with personnel across different departments to ensure organizational needs are met and that equipment is available when required.

Working with other personnel within the maintenance department, including the Field Maintenance Foreman, to make sure all shop services and repairs are completed in an efficient and timely manner.

Successful candidates will be licensed technicians with a valid driver license, will posses valid CVIP license, and have a strong operating knowledge of a wide range of heavy-duty equipment. Successful candidates must also poses the organizational and interpersonal skills needed to coordinate efforts between their direct reports and other departments while maintaining positive and respectful work environment.
