Description
The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established residential design–build company specializing in custom home additions and indoor–outdoor renovation projects across the GTA. Their work combined engineered product solutions with hands-on construction expertise and careful attention to detail.
This is a hands-on, craftsmanship-focused environment where teams value clear communication, quality execution, and doing things properly the first time.
The company is continuing to grow and is strengthening its field leadership to support consistent job site execution, clear communication, and high-quality homeowner experience across all active projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
The Site Superintendent is responsible for the daily leadership and coordination of all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of workmanship.
This is a hands-on role that bridges field operations and project management, working closely with installers, subtrades, and project managers to deliver strong outcomes on each project.
We’re looking for someone who operates with integrity, humility, and pride of workmanship — someone who will fit well within a growing, family owned environment where people care about the work they do.
This is also an opportunity for someone who can step into a leadership role on site, take ownership, and contribute to how projects are run day to day.

- Lead installation crews and coordinate subtrades to ensure safe, efficient workflow.
- Conduct daily site meetings, track progress, and document site activities
- Maintain site organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety protocols.
- Pre-plan and sequence upcoming phases of work, ensuring materials, labour, and trade coordination are aligned in advance.
- Coordinate and participate in site inspections with municipal officials, ensuring compliance and readiness.
Quality Control & Workmanship
- Inspect work for accuracy, craftsmanship, and adherence to drawings, specifications
- Identify and resolve deficiencies proactively before project completion
- Ensure compliance with company standards and the Ontario Building Code
Health & Safety Compliance
- Own jobsite safety and ensure all work meets company and OHSA standards.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inspections, and enforce PPE compliance.
- Report and assist in investigating incidents or near misses.
Scheduling & Coordination
- Work closely with Project Managers to maintain and adjust schedules.
- Coordinate materials, deliveries, and subtrade sequencing.
- Communicate jobsite status and requirements clearly to internal teams.
- Proactively identify scheduling risks or potential delays and work with Operations and Project Management to adjust resources and keep projects on track.
Customer Service, Warranty & Deficiencies
- Represent the company with professionalism on every project, communicating clearly with homeowners throughout all stages of construction to ensure a positive overall experience
- Maintain proactive communication to support client confidence and satisfaction
- Support resolution of service and warranty items in a timely and respectful manner
Team Development & Mentorship
- Support and mentor junior installers and apprentices.
- Contribute to improving field processes and developing standard site operating procedures.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and pride in workmanship.
What Success Looks Like
- Job sites run safely, efficiently, and with minimal supervision.
- Crews respect your leadership and follow direction consistently.
- Projects are delivered with strong workmanship, minimal rework, and clear accountability for site execution.
- Clients feel informed, respected, and confident throughout the process.
- Teams continue to improve in skill, consistency, and accountability.

- Solid understanding of the Ontario Building Code and construction sequencing.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
