Role Summary
The Supervisor is the on-site shift supervisor responsible for overseeing valet operations during their assigned shift. This role ensures safe, efficient, and professional service delivery by supervising the valet team, managing ramp and driveway flow, and acting as the first point of escalation for operational or guest-related issues. Ramp Captains are accountable for maintaining service standards, safety compliance, and operational control throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise valet operations and staff during assigned shifts
- Assign roles and manage coverage based on real-time operational needs
- Monitor punctuality, readiness, and professional conduct of the team
- Manage ramp, driveway, and traffic flow to prevent congestion or safety risks
- Oversee guest arrival and departure experience and resolve issues as needed
- Act as the primary escalation point for guest concerns or service breakdowns
- Ensure proper vehicle handling, inspections, and safe driving practices
- Respond to and report incidents, damages, or near-misses according to protocol
- Enforce company policies, site procedures, and service standards
- Communicate shift updates, challenges, and incidents to management
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in valet, hospitality, or operations
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment
- High standards for safety, service quality, and professionalism
- Ability to manage real-time operational challenges calmly and effectively
- Reliability, accountability, and a hands-on leadership approach
- Part-time availability: Monday to Wednesday with rotation shifts (7am to 3pm and 3pm to 11pm)
